8A. Client Finder — Business Prospect Information

Client Finder is a business research and prospecting application within our Platform. It processes information about businesses and business representatives — company names, trading details, company numbers, addresses, sectors, websites, financial filings, planning applications, procurement activity and business signals — gathered from Companies House, business websites, planning portals, procurement portals and other legitimate publicly accessible sources. Artificial intelligence assists with researching, matching, scoring and drafting outreach for this information.

BuiltRight Technologies Ltd is the controller for this research and matching activity. Client Finder customers are separately responsible, as controllers in their own right, for any marketing campaign they choose to run. Our primary lawful basis is legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) UK GDPR for proportionate corporate B2B prospecting; where PECR requires consent — including electronic marketing to sole traders, ordinary partnerships and other individual subscribers — an appropriate lawful basis such as consent is required before that contact is made.

This information is disclosed to authorised Client Finder subscribers to enable their own outreach. Prospect personal data is retained for a default of 12 months from last verification or legitimate use, then deleted or anonymised. Where a person objects to processing or contact, we keep the minimum identifier necessary on a suppression record to honour that objection.

Full detail on Client Finder prospect processing, including your rights and how to object, is set out in the separate Client Finder Prospect Privacy Notice.

9. Cookies

We use essential, functional, and analytics cookies. For full details see our Cookies Policy.

10. Children's Privacy

Our Platform is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child, we will delete it promptly.

11. Changes to This Policy
